To replace the battery in a Mazda CX-5, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. The battery is located on the right side, just below the windscreen: remove it from its housing by unscrewing the screws that secure it and disconnecting the cables attached to it. Once the battery is freed, remove it from its housing to replace it with a new one. Connect the new battery to the cables, place it in its slot, and secure it with the bolts.
