To replace the battery on a Mazda CX-5, open the bonnet to access the engine bay: the battery is located in the centre of the bay, covered by a plastic cover. By removing this cover, you can access the battery, which must be disconnected from its terminals and the securing bolts. This will allow you to extract the battery from its housing and replace it with a new part: once the new battery is connected to the terminals and secured with the screws, you can replace the plastic cover and close the bonnet.
