Mazda 6 - Video tutorial

Model: Mazda 6 MK 2, GH - Years 2008-2012
Part: Brake discs
Operation: Replacement discs and rear pads

Once the car has been raised and the rear wheels removed, remove the brake caliper from its support, remove the old pads and disassemble the support itself; then move on to the screws fixing the disc to the hub and remove the disc itself by screwing a longer pin to be able to push it outwards; then clean the disc seat on the hub with an iron brush and apply grease; return the caliper piston with the special clamp which allows the cylinder to rotate, clean and grease the caliper support as well by applying the new sliding pads of the pads; therefore install the new disc after removing the protective oil, install the caliper support, insert the new pads and then the caliper (check the brake oil level).

How to activate the cruise control of the Nissan Qashqai

Let's see how the cruise control is activated on the Nissan Qashqai: you have to activate it by putting the cruise control switch to "on", then, using only the right spoke of the steering wheel, press the "set-" button, then the "res +" button also on the right spoke of the steering wheel and the cruise control indicator lights up on the car's instrument panel display. If the brake pedal is pressed while the cruise control is in operation or if the "cancel" button on the right spoke of the steering wheel is pressed, the cruise control will automatically deactivate and the cruise control indicator on the instrument panel will go out.
