If you want to learn how to properly replace the battery located inside the key of your new Mazda CX-5, then this guide is just what you need. First, obtain a flat-head screwdriver.

Next, remove the rear cover with your hands and use the flat screwdriver to take off the lower part of the metal cover. At this point, still using the screwdriver, remove the front cover to gain access to the exhausted battery.

Finally, proceed with the replacement and reattach the cover.
