Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Mazda Cx 7 MK 1 - Years 2006-2012

The engine air filter box (AIRBOX) is located just behind the left front headlamp, in front of the battery; the cover is secured with metal spring clips that must be released. To lift the cover, disconnect the air intake hose to the engine by loosening the corresponding clamp. Once the cover is lifted, remove the old filter, ensure there are no dirt residues inside the box, and insert the new filter, making sure the seal fits perfectly against the edges. Then, reposition the cover, secure it with the metal clips, and reconnect the hose.
