Replacing the Key Fob Battery for the Mazda CX-5

Follow these step-by-step instructions to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for the Mazda CX-5. First, take your key fob and remove the physical key from it. Then, use a small flat screwdriver to pry open the fob along the gap created, splitting it into two halves as shown in the video. At this point, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2025 3V); insert it the right way round and reassemble the two halves of the fob, finally reinserting the key!
