This short video tutorial shows the procedure to replace the battery of the Mazda CX-5 key. This procedure is very simple and quick to perform; first, leverage with your fingers on the side of the key, pulling out the part of the key with the Mazda symbol.

Once the key is open, remove the battery cover; at this point, remove the old battery and insert the new one, reinsert the cover, and close the key. The battery is a CR2025. No specific tools are required for this procedure, and it takes little time to complete.
