How to Dismantle Shock Absorbers on a Mazda-6

This video illustrates how to dismantle the shock absorbers of a Mazda. Pay close attention to how to do it. The first step: loosen the wheel bolts, lift the car on a column lift, and remove the wheel. Second: mark with a marker the correct position of the shock absorber. Using a ratchet, unscrew the bolts next to the wheel arm as shown in the video. Now unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber, then the lower central bolt. If the bolt does not come out, use a hammer and penetrating oil, and fit a suitable threaded rod to support the wheel arm. Pull the shock absorber out of its housing and fit the new one onto the same plate. If the threads of the bolts are damaged, use a tap to re-thread them. Insert the shock absorber into its housing and first tighten all the bolts at the top, then secure the bottom to the wheel arm using a safety jack. Finally, refit the wheel with the respective bolts. - New shock absorber - Ratchet with extension - 14-21 inserts - Pry bar - Hammer - Pneumatic tools - Torque wrench - Thread tap - Jack.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Suzuki Jimny, first inflate the tyres to the pressure value indicated on the corresponding sticker: this is located at the bottom of the driver's door pillar.
