This video shows us how to remove the shock absorbers of a Mazda. Let's see carefully how to do it. The first step to perform: we loosen the wheel pins, lift the car onto a column bridge and slide the rim out. Second: we mark with a felt-tip pen the right point where the shock absorber is positioned. With a ratchet wrench we go to unscrew the pins placed next to the arm of the wheel as in the video. Now we unscrew the locking pins of the shock absorber, then, the lower central pin. If the pin does not come off, we intervene with a hammer and release, we mount a special threaded bar to support the wheel arm. We remove the shock absorber from its housing and mount the new one on the same plate, if the threads of the pins are damaged, we intervene with a threading die. We insert the shock absorber in its housing and we go first to tighten all the pins in the upper part, then to fix the lower part to the arm of the wheel with the help of a safety stand. Finally we reassemble the circle with the respective pins. - New shock absorber - Ratchet wrench with extender - Inserts 14-21 - Palanquin - Hammer - Pneumatic tools - Torque wrench - Threading die - Stand.
