How to Remove the Crankshaft Position Sensor on a Mazda 6

In this video, learn how to remove the crankshaft position sensor on a Mazda. First, loosen the wheel nuts with a socket wrench, then lift the car on a column lift and remove the wheel. Unscrew the splash shield located under the wheel arch with a screwdriver and remove it. You will find the sensor (unscrew the two securing bolts), and with a socket wrench, you can remove the securing bolts. Disconnect the part from the engine mount. Compare the worn part with the new one, install the new part with the respective securing bolts, reattach the splash shield and the wheel. Finally, lower the car back to the ground.
