How to remove the steering wheel airbag of the Mercedes C-Class

The removal of the airbag on a steering wheel of a Mercedes C-Class W204 model is a simple and quick operation to be carried out independently, also thanks to our short video tutorial. To perform the removal, we need to insert a torx key into the side holes in order to push the internal lever of the central body and then remove the system. Disconnect the connector and then remove the airbag. Once this operation is completed, we can proceed with the removal of the steering wheel if necessary, or with the replacement of the airbag itself. The assembly follows the reverse procedure.
