How to Replace the Brake Pads on a Mercedes A-Class

For this operation, you will need to lift your vehicle and place it on appropriate jack stands to remove the wheel where the replacement is necessary. Then, remove the bolts located at the back of the brake, which secure the brake piston against the rotor. This will allow you to unlock it and remove it from the rotor. Now, you can take out the brake pads located in front of and behind the rotor, and then remove the bracket that held them in place. Follow the steps described in reverse for reassembling the various components.
