How to replace the radiator of a Mercedes GL?

To replace the radiator on a Mercedes GL, start by putting the car on a safe and stable surface. Allow the engine to cool completely, then remove the expansion tank cap to release any residual pressure in the cooling system. Locate the drain valve for the coolant on the radiator, place a container underneath it, and drain the coolant. Then remove the underbody protection to facilitate access. After disconnecting the inlet and outlet coolant hoses, unscrew the mounting screws that secure the radiator to the frame and disconnect any electrical cables or sensors connected to the radiator. At this point, carefully remove the radiator, avoiding damage to other surrounding components. Place the new radiator in the same housing, reattach the hoses and electrical connections, and tighten all the mounting screws. Once installed, refill the system with the appropriate coolant for the model. Start the engine and let it run for a while, checking for leaks and ensuring that the system is functioning properly, then check the coolant level and add if necessary.
