In this short and simple guide, we will see how to disassemble and clean (or replace) the EGR valve of the Mercedes C Class 2.0 CDI. First of all, open the hood of the car and start locating the EGR valve, located next to the diesel filter; then unscrew the screws to remove the hose and then the EGR valve, disconnecting the electrical connector, as shown in the video. At this point, clean the EGR valve with specific degreasers, replacing it if necessary; then reassemble the EGR valve, applying the reverse process!
