How to reset the automatic transmission of the Mercedes C-Class W204

In the following article, we will explain the procedure for resetting the automatic transmission of the Mercedes C-Class W204 in case it becomes stuck. For this operation, no tools or software are needed. To reset the transmission, you must turn the key to position 2, then press the accelerator pedal all the way down and hold it for 2 minutes. After the 2 minutes, turn off the ignition, release the pedal, restart the ignition, and then start the engine. Now the procedure will be complete and the transmission will be unlocked. This procedure is useful in case the transmission gets stuck due to an electronic failure. It is recommended to visit a workshop as soon as possible.
