What are the possible causes of the EPS light on and the hard steering?

In this video we see what are the possible causes of the EPS light being on and the hardening of the steering wheel. If during driving the EPS light (Electronic Power Steering) comes on, this indicates anomalies that can be more or less serious. If the light comes on but the steering wheel continues to work normally, it could be a false contact or a anomaly of the control unit, which can be identified by a diagnosis of an electrician and reset. Another reason could be related to the car battery not being sufficiently charged. In most cases, however, when the EPS light comes on, the steering wheel suddenly becomes hard to maneuver, and in most cases, it leads to the breakdown of the electric power steering.
