Let's see how to change the spark plugs on a Mercedes Class B W245: it is advisable to always disconnect the negative pole of the battery before carrying out this type of work on our car: we open the hood, remove the engine cover and gently disconnect the connector from each coil, then remove them: if they have a safety screw, unscrew it and then pull it out of its well. If we remove them all together, we mark the order in which we removed them. Clean the area around the spark plug well, being very careful that nothing falls inside the well, then with the ratchet wrench and the key, hook the spark plug and unscrew it counterclockwise, then pull it out. Apply a little anti-seize lubricant on the threads of the new spark plug, manually insert it into the well and then tighten it to 25 Nm; repeat for all the other spark plugs, put back the coils, then the electrical connectors, put the engine cover back in place and reconnect the battery.
