How to perform maintenance on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class? Let's see how to replace the battery: open the car door and pull up the hood release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the hood, disengaging the lock lever with your fingers, and secure it. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery under the plastic cover; remove the securing pins of the battery terminals (negative and positive), then remove it from the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the hood after maintenance.
