Today we will discover how to perform the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Mercedes Viano. First, let's open the vehicle's hood and start removing the oil filter cartridge using the appropriate tool to unscrew the cap; we will replace and install the new filter.

Next, we will lift the vehicle to drain the engine oil by unscrewing the bolt located on the oil pan, allowing it to drain for about ten minutes. Finally, we will top up with the new oil that meets the specifications indicated in the owner's manual.
