In this guide, we will see how to put the automatic transmission of the Mercedes C-Class into Neutral in case of an emergency, or in the event of a vehicle breakdown or electrical failure. First, we get inside the car and begin to detach the cover of the gear lever boot; underneath, we will find a yellow tab that we will press to manually unlock the automatic gear lever, as shown in the video. At this point, it will be possible to place the transmission in Neutral, allowing us to move the vehicle; once the issue is resolved, we will restore the position of the tab.
