How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes M-Class

To reset the service light on a Mercedes M-Class, enter the vehicle, insert the key into the ignition, and turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Press the R button located above the odometer twice until the total mileage appears on the display. Now use the arrow buttons on the steering wheel to navigate the display menu until you find the maintenance or service reset option. Press the OK button to access the screen and continue scrolling until you reach Full Service. Then select Confirm Service or Reset Service and confirm the operation when prompted by the system. Wait a few seconds until the message indicating the reset appears. Finally, turn off the instrument cluster and turn it back on to check that the service light has been cleared.
