How to Reset the Maintenance Light on the Mercedes C-Class from the Instrument Cluster

To reset the maintenance light on the Mercedes C-Class, you only need to use the instrument cluster, with the car stationary and the engine off. Turn the ignition on by turning the key to the position where the speedometer and central display light up. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to scroll through the various screens of the onboard computer until the maintenance warning appears on the display, showing the wrench icon and the type of service along with the kilometers remaining until the next service (for example, "maintenance B in ? km"). Once the maintenance screen is displayed, use the reset button located at the bottom of the left lever, the same one that controls the turn signals. Keep this button pressed for a few seconds, and the display will ask if you want to reset the service interval; at this point, without releasing the lever, continue to press the reset button until the message disappears and the maintenance indication is updated. The display will show the wrench icon again with the new mileage interval, indicating that the ECU has recorded the reset. Once the operation is complete, you can return to the normal screens of the onboard computer using the buttons on the steering wheel and turn off the ignition. At the next startup, the expired service warning will no longer appear: the maintenance of the Mercedes C220 will be correctly reset after the service.
