Let's see the replacement of the coolant thermostat on Mercedes A Class. Lift the front hood (where the engine is located); we disassemble the soundproofing panel of the engine, we arrive at the thermostat. Unscrew the pins of the thermostat sleeve and (we use a socket wrench with relative bushes) remove the sealing cap of the housing and extract the coolant thermostat (remove the aeration kit). We insert the new piece and close with the cap of the sleeve. We tighten the pins well and we're done. Make sure that you have correctly inserted and mounted the valve in the appropriate housing.
