How do you perform maintenance on your Mercedes E-Class? Let's see how to replace the cabin air filter. Open the hood; remove the plastic cover under the windshield with a lever. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the filter cover (where the air filter is located). Remove the cap from the filter housing with a screwdriver, then pull out the worn cabin air filter. Insert a new cabin air filter, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the housing. Reinstall the filter housing cover and tighten the screws. Reattach all the plastic pieces under the windshield. Check that all parts are properly installed.
