Replacing the Cabin Air Filter in a Mercedes E-Class W124

Part: Cabin air filter

First, purchase a new cabin air filter from an authorized auto parts dealer. The cabin air filter is located at the top of the engine compartment under the windshield. Lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod; remove the seal from the cover panel; remove the fasteners for the panel as shown in the video; once the panel is removed, extract the old filter element from its housing. Install the new filter element and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
