Removing the Radio from a Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

Replace the radio in the Mercedes E-Class if you want to change it or if it is damaged. Remove the trim above the plastic center tunnel (where the knob is), and detach it from the center tunnel. Once you have removed the tunnel cover, unscrew the securing screws located under the radio using a screwdriver (remove the drawer under the radio). Pull out the stereo by hand and disconnect the wires (power and antenna). To reassemble, reverse the disassembly steps. Install the new radio, screw in the screws, and cover the center tunnel with the trim.
