How to Change the Battery in a Mercedes E-Class

How do you maintain your Mercedes? This guide explains how to replace the battery in the E-Class. Open the car door and pull up the engine hood release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the hood, disengaging the lock lever with your fingers, and secure it. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery to be replaced at the top left; remove the securing pins from the battery terminals, then take it out of the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the hood after installation.
