How to Remove EGR Valve on Mercedes E-Class

Removing a damaged EGR valve on a Mercedes E-Class? Let's go through the disassembly process. Raise the hood, locate the EGR valve to be removed. Disconnect the electrical connector above the valve (unscrew the screws with a socket wrench or screwdriver). Once disassembly is complete, pull the part out of the engine compartment. Take the new replacement part and insert it into the designated housing, screw in the securing bolts (connect the power connector). Test the operation of the EGR valve and then close the hood.
