How do you replace the EGR valve of the Mercedes E-Class?

The EGR valve of the Mercedes E-Class is located inside the engine compartment of the car, so in order to locate it you will need to open the hood: the device will be found at the rear of the engine block, just below the exhaust manifold. Once the valve has been located, it will be possible to disconnect the connector of the corresponding sensor, then loosen the screws that secure it to its seat; now it will be possible to remove the valve and insert the new replacement part. At this point, it will be possible to verify that the new valve is functioning correctly.
