How to Remove the Rear Bumper on a Mercedes ML

Is the rear bumper of your Mercedes ML damaged? Here’s how to remove it from the back of the vehicle. Open the boot, remove the fabric cover in the luggage compartment. Unscrew the securing bolts located at the top of the bumper using a socket wrench. Unscrew the screws at the bottom of the bumper, then remove the screws located at the sides of the wheel arch liners. Detach the bumper: grip the bumper with your hands and pull it away from the bodywork (disconnect any power cables if necessary). Fit the new rear bumper onto the bodywork: screw in the screws around the bumper, and cover the luggage compartment with the cover.
