How to Remove the Rear Bumper of a Mercedes M-Class

Before you can start, open the tailgate of your Mercedes M-Class. Begin by unscrewing and removing all the bolts and screws securing the bumper, located around the entire perimeter of the bumper. Next, detach all the clips that hold the bumper in place. Once all the clips are released, dislodge and pull the bumper away from its housing. By doing this, you will access the internal connectors that you need to disconnect. Once you have completed this last step, you can finally remove the rear bumper, and the disassembly will be complete.
