Replacing Cigarette Lighter Fuse on Mercedes E

Is the cigarette lighter not working? Let's go through the disassembly and replacement of the fuse. Open and lift the hood, then remove the plastic cover of the fuse box using a lever. Locate the fuse to be removed: disconnect the fuse with pliers, then pull it out of the box. Insert a new cigarette lighter fuse. After installing the replacement part, reinstall the cover over the plastic box. Check the correct installation of the components and test the proper functioning of the cigarette lighter (start the vehicle and test).
