Replace the Shift Knob on the Mercedes A-Class

To replace the shift knob on the Mercedes A-Class, start by positioning the car on a lift or on a flat surface. At this point, unlock the lower, plastic part of the leather boot covering the shift lever, starting from the shift knob. Now, pull up the base of the boot along with the leather boot itself to cover the knob, and around the lever, near the knob, unscrew the plastic piece. Set the lever to the neutral position and pull off the stuck knob along with the boot. Install the new knob along with the boot, reversing the steps taken, and you're done!
