How to Replace the Fan Resistor in a Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W169 - Years 2004-2012

Before you can start, enter the cabin of your Mercedes A-Class. Using a Torx screwdriver, begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the lower cover of the glove compartment, and then remove the cover itself. Once this is done, move the side carpet, and you will reach the fan resistor. Proceed to pull it out of its housing, then disconnect the connector, and you will have completed the disassembly. To install the new resistor and reassemble everything, simply repeat these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
