How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Mercedes C-Class

Before starting, lift the rear seat cushion and remove the cover located beneath it in your Mercedes C-Class. Begin by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the outer cover of the fuel pump, then remove the cover itself.

Next, unscrew and remove the ring that holds the fuel pump in place. At this point, you can remove the inner cover of the fuel pump, and you will have access to the fuel pump itself.

Proceed by disconnecting the electrical connector, then pull the pump out of its housing. Once you complete this step, you will have successfully disassembled the unit.

To install the new pump, simply reverse these steps, and you will have completed the replacement.
