Before starting, we will have to lift the bench of the rear seats and remove the cover positioned under the bench of our Mercedes C-Class. So let's start by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the external cover of the petrol pump, and then remove the cover itself. . Next, we will have to unscrew and remove the ring nut that holds the fuel pump in place. At this point, we will be able to remove the internal cover of the fuel pump, and we will have reached the fuel pump itself. We then proceed by disconnecting the relative electrical plug, and then extract the pump from its housing. When we have completed this step, we will have successfully finished the disassembly. To fit the new pump, all we have to do is repeat these steps in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
