How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Mercedes C-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

Before you can begin, lift the rear seat cushion and remove the cover located beneath it in your Mercedes C-Class. Start by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the fuel pump cover, then remove the cover itself. After that, unscrew and remove the ring that holds the fuel pump in position. At this point, you can remove the inner cover of the fuel pump, and you will have access to the fuel pump itself. Proceed by disconnecting the electrical connector, then pull the pump out of its housing. Once you complete this step, you will have successfully disassembled the unit. To install the new pump, just follow these simple instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
