Before proceeding with automatic transmission oil change, make sure you have the proper ATF specification oil, filter cartridge and pan gasket available. Then lift the car on the bridge or on suitable car stands; unscrew the drain plug and collect the used oil in a basin; then unscrew the fixing pins of the cup and extract the filter cartridge (just pull it downwards); carefully clean the cup, eliminating all metal residues that may have deposited on the magnet. The video shows the emptying of the gearbox carried out by starting the engine and engaging the various gears leaving the gearbox cup removed: pay attention to this operation which could damage the gearbox; if necessary, the washing must be carried out with the special equipment that inserts new oil while sucking the old one, leaving the gears always lubricated. Then fit the new filter cartridge, the new gasket to the sump and secure it by tightening the relative fixing pins. Then fill the gearbox with new oil, start the engine and engage all the gear lever positions. Finally check the oil level through the appropriate stick.
