How to Remove the ECU from a Mercedes E-Class?

To replace the ECU in a Mercedes E-Class, open the hood to access the engine compartment. The ECU is located at the top of the engine compartment, directly under the windshield on the driver's side. To remove it, you need to take off the plastic protective cover, disconnect the relevant cables and connectors, and pull the ECU out of its housing. After removing the old ECU, you can replace it with a new part. Connect it to the connectors, insert it back into its housing, and secure it by reinstalling the plastic protective cover.
