How to Replace the Air Filter on a Mercedes A-Class?

To replace the air filter on a Mercedes A-Class, lift the hood to access the engine compartment. Remove the upper engine cover to access the air filter housing. This will be secured by four screws that need to be loosened; once the screws are loosened, you can move the cover aside and pull the air filter from its housing. After removing the old filter, install the new one, place it in the housing, and secure it with the appropriate screws.
