Regularly changing your car's cabin air filter is very important because it protects against external agents that can enter the cabin. It is advisable to replace it every 6,200 mi or once a year.

An activated carbon cabin air filter costs more than a standard filter but also helps retain harmful substances from the exhaust gases of other vehicles. Replacing it is a fairly simple task that does not take many minutes.
