Follow this video to learn how to replace the cabin air filters. The car in question has filters both under and behind the passenger side glovebox and this video will show you how to replace those under the drawer. Begin by partially removing the carpet from under the passenger side dashboard. Remove the polystyrene panel and the plastic panel under the drawer that is lower down towards the engine. As you can see there are two filters. Slide the first clip to the right and the second to the left to remove the covers. Pull out both filters. The filter material may look different but they are still compatible. Instead, note the shape of each of the filters which is different and therefore cannot be exchanged when reassembling them. During disassembly and reassembly, always carefully observe the position of the arrow on the filter, which indicates the direction of the air flow. Insert the filters, replace the covers and lock them by sliding the clip. Reassemble the panel making sure that it is well hooked, reposition the polystyrene panel and finally the footboard.
