Replacement of the Coolant Return Hose

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Antifreeze coolant

First, perform this repair with a cold engine to avoid unpleasant burns. Open the hood and remove the plastic soundproof cover on the engine; loosen the clamp securing the coolant return hose from the thermostat to the reservoir; detach the pin from the reservoir side and install the new hose by tightening the clamp on the thermostat and securing the pin at the connection joint on the reservoir. Reposition the plastic cover, and once the engine is started, ensure that the new hose does not have leaks caused by manufacturing defects or damage during storage and transport.
