Operation: Replacement of the coolant return pipe

First of all it is suggested to carry out this repair with a cold engine to avoid unpleasant burns. Then open the front hood and remove the plastic sound-absorbing cover placed on the engine; loosen the clamp securing the sleeve of the coolant return pipe that goes from the thermostat to the tank; unhook the split pin from the tank side and fit the new pipe by tightening the clamp on the thermostat and securing the split pin in correspondence with the coupling on the tank. Reposition the plastic cover, once the engine has been started, make sure that the new hose does not have any leaks caused by construction defects or damage due to storage and transport.
