How to Replace the Key Fob Shell

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

If you need to replace the key fob shell for any reason, follow this video to understand how to do it. First, obtain a new replacement shell. Start by sliding the button and removing the key. Then, use a thin-bladed tool to detach the cover containing the button cell battery. Now, carefully try to open or cut the shell to be replaced, taking care not to damage the circuit inside. Once you have removed the circuit, you can insert it into the new shell as shown in the images. Finally, reattach the cover with the battery and the key.
