Fuel Filter Replacement

Gasoline, like air, must be free from impurities before combustion, so it is filtered during its journey from the tank to the engine. A dirty filter restricts the flow of gasoline. The filter should be replaced every 15,000-20,000 miles. Once the filter is located, use a screwdriver to loosen the clamps and remove the hose from both ends of the filter. The hose should then be inserted onto the new filter, and the clamps should be tightened. The specific indication on the filter will show the direction for installation.
