How to Replace the Flywheel on a Mercedes A-Class

Replacing the flywheel and clutch assembly on the vehicle is a rather complex operation. Assume that you have already removed the engine from the chassis and placed it on the ground with the entire front suspension assembly. Proceed to remove the suspension arm, wheel hub assembly, and shock absorber. Then, remove the half-shaft and begin to loosen all the locking bolts of the clutch assembly and flywheel. Once the differential assembly is removed, you will have access to the flywheel and clutch, allowing you to perform the necessary maintenance or replacement.
