How to Replace the Remote Battery for the Mercedes A-Class?

To replace the battery in the remote for the Mercedes A-Class, slide the key out of the chrome cover at the base of the device. Once the key is removed, use a tool to pry open the housing so that the back cover of the remote can be taken off. This will allow you to remove the underlying battery from its compartment and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, reassemble all components.
