Storing Electric Window Switches

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003

The electric window switches allow for automatic opening and closing of the windows with a single touch, without needing to hold the button throughout the travel. However, when the battery is disconnected, the window control unit loses the memory of this function, which must be reprogrammed: this is a simple manual procedure using the switches themselves. If the window is closed, press the open button and hold it throughout the travel and for a few seconds afterwards. Next, press the close button and hold it until fully closed and for a few seconds afterwards. The same procedure can be used for the electric sunroof control.
