How to Replace the Battery on a Mercedes E-Class?

If you need to replace the battery on this vehicle, refer to the instructions below and you can also use the video tutorial. The first step is to open the hood; the battery is located at the top, just under the windshield on the right side. To facilitate removal, disengage the hood's stop limit pins to fully tilt it back. The compartment containing the battery is covered with a plastic lid, and to open it, you need to unclip some steel clamps. Underneath, you will find the battery housing. Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal. Next, remove the nut at the base of the battery to take off the mounting plate. After that, you can pull out the battery and replace it with the new one.
