ABS Control Module Replacement Instructions

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

The anti-lock braking system, commonly known as ABS (from English Antilock Braking System or German Antiblockiersystem), is a safety system that prevents wheel lock-up, ensuring vehicle control during braking. It is managed by an electronic control module that operates the opening and closing of the solenoids controlling the braking system; this module is located at the front right of the engine compartment (when facing the vehicle), just behind the headlight. Disconnect the power connector by sliding the lock out like a drawer and remove the corresponding mounting screws. Proceed in reverse for installation.
