How to Reset the Service on the Mercedes SLK

Model: Mercedes Slk MK 2, R171 - Years 2004-2011

To reset the service indicator that has illuminated on the instrument cluster after changing the engine oil and filter, follow the instructions below. First, sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. Using the menu and up/down arrow buttons located on the left side of the steering wheel, select the 'Service data' option. Use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel marked with plus and minus to select 'Confirm reset Full Service.' Finally, confirm the reset by pressing the OK button located on the left side of the steering wheel.
