Replacing Stabilizer Bar Bushings

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

The stabilizer bar or anti-roll bar is secured with support bushings that dampen vibrations. Over time, these bushings tend to deteriorate until they tear, no longer providing proper support and causing noise, especially when driving on uneven surfaces. Replacing these bushings is straightforward and does not require special precautions. Ideally, lift the vehicle on a lift, but jack stands are also sufficient. Once the vehicle is lifted and the front wheel is removed, loosen the nuts of the bushing mounting bracket, remove the old bushing, and insert the new one after lubricating it. Then, secure it with the corresponding bracket.
